Waking up in our room was like stepping into a dream. The view from our window, with its snow-covered landscape and majestic trees, felt straight out of a movie. The romance of the moment, heightened by the falling snow, compelled me to wake my husband so we could share the magic.
The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the exhilarating experience of snowboarding. Mr. D’s patience and enthusiasm propelled me forward despite initial challenges and doubts. With his guidance, I conquered the slopes, reveling in a sense of achievement that surpassed my expectations. Our last night at the lodge brought another unforgettable experience, as R. introduced us to an outdoor hot spring bath in the snow. The laughter and joy shared under the starlit sky made us feel like carefree children, momentarily free from the world’s worries.
As I reflect on our time at Kyubi Spirit Lodge, I realize that Niseko’s beauty extends far beyond its natural scenery. R and D’s warmth and hospitality made our stay exceptional, transforming strangers into cherished friends. Their genuine care and welcoming spirit created a sense of home away from home, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts.
